The lists are given the opportunity to present themselves in the election newspaper. The election committee summarises the self-presentations submitted by the election proposals in due time into an election newspaper. Due to print and layout, there are certain requirements for the self-presentations that must be adhered to when creating them.
The election newspaper will be published on 6/15/26 at the latest and can then be found under ‘Publications’. It will also be displayed in central locations at the university.
The deadline for submissions to the election newsletter is Monday, May 25, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
Here is all the important information you need to know for your submission:
Even if you do not submit a contribution, a list of your candidates will still be published in the newsletter.
Please send your contributions via email to wahl@stud.rwth-aachen.de. We expect 4 PDF documents (!): A German and an English version of the contributions, which will be published in separate editions of the newspaper A print version and an online version. This means: The online version should be provided in RGB colors in DIN A4 format. The print version should be created in CMYK colors in 216 x 303 mm format. You have a maximum of 5 pages available. (Just note that an even page count looks better in print.) Very important for all versions: leave a 1 cm margin at the top and bottom! Of course, you are free to write whatever you like. However, please always ensure that you do not attack individuals or groups of people. Please refer to the university’s “Code of Conduct” and, for the lists running for the Student Parliament, the agreements on fair campaigning from the Session Committee. A responsible party (V.i.S.d.P.) must be listed below your text. Please include contact information with your submission so we can reach you for any last-minute questions regarding your documents.
If your submission does not meet the formatting requirements and we are unable to reach you, we reserve the right to edit your submission in the best interest of the election newspaper.
